How To Protect Your iPhone Data in 5 Steps

Step 1: Update Your iPhone to the Latest Version
Ensure your iPhone is running the latest operating system to get the latest security patches and features. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and follow the prompts to download and install the latest version.
Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Add an extra layer of security to your iPhone by enabling two-factor authentication. Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Two-Factor Authentication and slide the switch to turn it on.
Step 3: Use a Strong Passcode
Create a strong passcode to lock your iPhone and prevent unauthorized access. Go to Settings > Passcode & Face ID/Fingerprint & Passcode and create a passcode that's at least 6 characters long.
Step 4: Back Up Your iPhone Data
Regularly back up your iPhone data to prevent losing important information in case your phone is compromised. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup and turn on iCloud Backup.
Step 5: Consider Using a VPN
Use a virtual private network (VPN) to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your data when using public Wi-Fi. Go to the App Store and download a reputable VPN app, such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN.
